When you buy a gown, availability is rarely the issue, the store can order your size, or alter almost anything to fit. Rentals work differently. Each dress in a rental collection exists in one size, in one place, and can only be reserved by one bride at a time. During peak season, the most requested silhouettes and sizes get booked out months in advance, not weeks. Waiting until “closer to the date” is the single most common reason brides miss out on the dress they actually wanted.

Lebanon’s Wedding Calendar, and What It Means for You

May – September (peak season): The bulk of Lebanese weddings happen in this window, with July and August the most in-demand. If your date falls here, plan to book your fitting well before spring.
October – December: This is when the next summer’s couples typically start reaching out, if you’re getting married next July or August, this is realistically when you should already be looking.
January – April (lower season): Fewer weddings means more available inventory and more flexibility on fitting dates, even closer to your event.

Bridal gowns are reserved earliest, start here first, especially for a summer date.
Evening dresses (for engagement parties, katb kitab, or receptions) tend to book up 4 – 6 weeks closer to the event.
Engagement (khotbeh) dresses and prom dresses typically have shorter lead times than bridal gowns.
