Four Evening Dresses For Rent At The Four Vows Lebanon – Black Beaded, Lilac Satin, Black Slit And Ivory Sequin Gowns

Holiday Evening Dresses in Lebanon: What to Wear This Season

December in Lebanon rarely means one event. There is the company dinner, Christmas Eve with family, a friend’s wedding, and New Year’s Eve, often within the same two weeks. Each one asks for a different kind of dress, and very few people want to be photographed in the same gown twice.

This guide walks through what works for each occasion, with pieces from our evening collection you can try on in a private fitting at our Baabda showroom.

New Year’s Eve: This Is the Night for Sparkle

New Year’s Eve is the one night where more is more. Sequins, beading and metallic finishes all read beautifully under party lighting and in photos taken after midnight.

  • Noctelle: black sequins on a sleek strapless silhouette. Classic, but never quiet.
  • Nocturne: a strapless silver column gown covered in crystal beading that catches every light in the room.
  • Isalea: emerald green, fully beaded, with a strapless sweetheart neckline. A statement for a gala night.
  • Velouris: lilac satin with a sequined strapless bodice, a twisted draped waist and a front slit. Soft color, full party sparkle.

If the celebration is at a mountain venue or partly outdoors, a gown with sleeves or a structured bodice keeps the look polished when the temperature drops.

Christmas Dinners and Parties: Rich Colors

Christmas suits deeper tones: red, plum and forest green. These colors feel festive without looking like costume, and they photograph warmly in candlelit rooms.

  • Rivelle: red sequins, off-shoulder, with long sleeves and a mermaid skirt. As festive as it gets, and also available in black.
  • Sevrin: forest green satin with a beaded sweetheart bodice and a thigh-high slit.
  • Rhaenyra: a deep plum shimmer finish with delicate straps and a flowing slit skirt.

For a family dinner rather than a party, choose satin over heavy sequins and a slit skirt over a full train. You will be sitting for most of the evening.

Covered and Long-Sleeve Gowns for Winter

Winter is the season for coverage, and many of our clients prefer a fully covered look all year. These gowns have high necklines, long sleeves and full-length skirts, with nothing lost in drama.

  • Glacielle: ice blue, beaded throughout, with long sleeves and a peplum waist.
  • Imperiosa: sage green with a high neckline, long sleeves and a dramatic overskirt train.
  • Dynara: sea green shimmer with long sleeves and a full overskirt that sweeps into a train.

When Black Is the Statement

A black gown is the safest choice when you do not know the dress code, and the easiest to style with your own jewelry. The detail is in the cut and the fabric.

  • Nox: sleek black satin, strapless, with draped waist detail and a thigh-high slit.
  • Ravenna: black satin, off-shoulder, with an embellished bodice and a draped skirt.
  • Ravenoire: black lace with a plunging neckline, a sheer bodice and a full tulle skirt.

December Weddings: What Guests Should Wear

Winter weddings in Lebanon are just as formal as summer ones, so the same rules apply: floor-length, no white or ivory, and nothing that competes with the bride. Navy, jewel tones and soft pastels all work well. For more detail, see our guide on what to wear as a wedding guest in Lebanon.

  • Cortège: periwinkle chiffon with a strapless beaded bodice and a flowing skirt.
  • Velisse: deep navy, strapless, with a beaded peplum bodice and a soft train.
  • Kenly: teal satin with a sweetheart neckline and a fitted mermaid skirt.

Getting Engaged Over the Holidays?

Many couples plan their khotbeh or engagement party around Christmas and New Year’s, when family is home from abroad. If the night is yours, this is when ivory and blush are welcome.

  • Cloe: an ivory beaded mermaid gown with a halter neckline, made for a bride-inspired evening look.
  • Elysian: ivory and off-shoulder, with a textured, fitted silhouette.
  • Seraphine: blush pink with a V-neckline, a jeweled waist detail and a sleek column skirt.

How Renting for the Holidays Works

  • Rental window: evening dresses are rented for 1 to 3 days, covering the event and the day either side.
  • Reservation: you reserve your dress with 50% of the rental price.
  • Security deposit: for evening dresses rented at $500 or more, a refundable 30% deposit is paid when you collect the dress.
  • Cleaning: handled by us after you return it.

December is the busiest month for evening events in Lebanon, and the same gown can be requested for several events on the same weekend. Once your dates are set, it is worth booking your fitting early. The full process is explained in how dress rental works.
