Renting a designer dress in Lebanon is still a newer idea for a lot of brides and guests used to buying, so here’s exactly what to expect, from your first fitting to returning the dress.
Why rent instead of buy?
A wedding gown worn once, an evening dress worn for a single gala: buying either at full designer price rarely makes sense for a one-night event. It’s part of why the wedding dress rental market specifically is projected to nearly double by 2035, as more brides choose renting designer pieces over buying. Renting gets you the same quality, at a fraction of the cost, without a dress taking up closet space afterward.
Step 1: Book a private fitting
Every rental starts with an in-person appointment at our Baabda showroom. We don’t ship dresses sight-unseen, since sizing varies dress by dress rather than following a fixed chart, so trying it on is the only reliable way to know it fits. Bring your measurements, or just come try things on; we’ll help you find the right dress and the right size for your body.
Step 2: Confirm your dress and price
Rental prices vary by dress and are confirmed at your fitting. A refundable security deposit is held until the dress is returned in good condition, typically around 30% of the rental price, or 50% for dresses over $500.
Step 3: Your rental window
Once you’ve chosen your gown, it’s yours for 3-4 days around your event, giving you room for last-minute alterations, the event itself, and a same-week return, with no rush.
Step 4: Return it, and we take it from there
Every dress comes back to us after each rental for professional cleaning and pressing, done in-house before it’s ever offered again. What the next person tries on is always fresh.
