Renting a designer dress in Lebanon is still a newer idea for a lot of brides and guests used to buying, so here’s exactly what to expect, from your first fitting to returning the dress.
Why rent instead of buy?
A wedding gown is worn once, and an evening dress often for a single night. Renting lets you wear a designer piece chosen for your day and fitted to you in a private appointment, without it hanging in your closet afterward. You also get to try styles you might never commit to buying: a dramatic ball gown for the wedding, then something sleek for the after-party.
Step 1: Book a private fitting
Every rental starts with an in-person appointment at our Baabda showroom. We don’t ship dresses sight-unseen, since sizing varies dress by dress rather than following a fixed chart, so trying it on is the only reliable way to know it fits. Bring your measurements, or just come try things on; we’ll help you find the right dress and the right size for your body.
Step 2: Confirm your dress and price
You reserve your dress with 50% of the rental price. When you collect it, you pay a refundable security deposit of 30% of the rental price, returned once the dress is back in good condition. For evening, engagement and prom dresses, the security deposit applies only when the rental price is $500 or more.
Step 3: Your rental window
The rental window depends on the type of dress, evening dresses are yours for 1–3 days, while bridal gowns are yours for 3–4 days to allow time for fittings.
Step 4: Return it, and we take it from there
Every dress comes back to us after each rental for professional cleaning and pressing, done in-house before it’s ever offered again. What the next person tries on is always fresh.
